We applaud the Daily Herald editorial board for succinctly laying out a most reasonable case why Mitt Romney is the superior choice for president. The reasons put forth in your endorsement are not only correct but powerfully persuasive to those who may yet be undecided. Job well done. Our unscientific poll from family, friends and business associates (many who are still unemployed) is that Romney will be do better in Illinois than anyone predicts. May the success of his election bring in six new Republican state representatives so that Mike Madigan is finally swept out. There is still hope for the overly taxed people of Illinois.
