Cook County officials say more than 97,000 suburban residents voted early last week. County Clerk David Orr said Monday if the pace continues, early voting may reach a record set four years ago. Early voting turnout in suburban Cook County is up 84 percent compared to the first week of early voting in 2008. It's 18 percent higher than in the second week of early voting four years ago.
