Barnes logical, well informed
I am supporting Yvonne M. Barnes for McHenry County Board, District 1. I have known Yvonne since we served together on the Cary village board. She and I mostly agreed on issues, but there were some times when we were on opposing sides. Debating these disagreements, Yvonne’s approach was always well-informed, logical and respectful, which is why we are still friends today.
Yvonne’s platform includes taking a leadership role in accountability for the out-of-control property taxes we are experiencing in McHenry County. Improving government communication, addressing additional budget cuts for nonessential expenditures and fostering public involvement are also strong concerns.
