K-9 Rescue hosts holiday party:
Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue hosts its annual holiday shopping party from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Adler Park — Bob Davis Lodge (behind the pool), 1500 Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Doors will be open from noon to 1 p.m. for early-bird shoppers for a $5 donation. Doors are open for all from 1 to 4 p.m. Handmade and one-of-a-kind items will be available by local artisans.
