Democracy rests in your hands

The League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn encourages all citizens to vote this November. The outcome of the election will affect your earnings and savings, health care quality and costs, environment, energy costs, and security. It will impact our world, our country and our community.

Take advantage of early or absentee voting. On Nov. 6, as long as you are in line before the poll closes, you are entitled to cast a ballot. Voters that have questions about their polling place, how to request an absentee ballot, or any other election related questions, should visit VOTE411.org. The League of Women Voters invites you to join us in making our communities fair, safe and strong by voting this year. It is the most important thing you can do to shape the future. Our democracy rests in everyone’s hands.
