A twin-engine aircraft attempting to land at an airport near Racine, Wis., ended up landing on I-94 Monday evening, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The aircraft, which was carrying two passengers, was attempting to land at an airport in Sturtevant, Wis., shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to an FAA recording. It landed on I-94, between routes 11 and 20. No information was available on the condition of the passengers.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
