Herald’s agenda shows in endorsement

As a member of the 8th Congressional District, I ended my subscription to the Daily Herald after its endorsement of Tammy Duckworth. Please go to the classified section of the Daily Herald in support of my views. The classified section is full of foreclosures.

Ms. Duckworth has said more than once that the people of the 8th District are doing better than they were four years ago. In checking the past four years of the classifieds being filled with foreclosure listings in the district, might I suggest that all the people with houses in the 8th District and were in your foreclosure section if they are doing better! Perhaps the endorsement would be in support of receiving more advertising dollars from the foreclosure attorneys. The Daily Herald would be certain to continue making a buck off them with Ms. Duckworth in office.

Perhaps the endorsement came because she is a veteran who served our country; it cannot be because she is serving the 8th District by not attending every debate and making herself available to her constituents. That she certainly is not. It is insulting to the intelligence of those who seek answers and representation of the 8th that the Daily Herald endorsement the lease present candidate. Your action leads me to the understanding that it’s not who will represent the 8th but who serve the Daily Herald better. Based on the two recent raising of subscription rates, I might think the Daily Herald is not fairing as well as it was four years ago? A copy of your canceled subscription and my $30 is going to Joe Walsh instead of your biased agenda.
