‘Bronx Tale’ in St. Charles postponed

Chazz Palminteri’s autobiographical one-man show, “A Bronx Tale,” originally scheduled to run Saturday, Oct. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Arcada Theatre, at 105 E. Main St., in St. Charles, has been postponed indefinitely.

Ticketholders for the Oct. 27 and 28 shows can request a full refund, or keep their tickets until a new performance date is secured, Arcada Theatre representatives announced. The show was postponed following the death of Arcada President Ron Onesti’s father.

To further compensate ticketholders, a free VIP screening of the 1993 film “A Bronx Tale,” starring Palminteri and Robert De Niro, will be shown at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Arcada Theatre. The screening is only for ticketholders and their guests.

Actor Louis Vanaria, who played the role of Crazy Mario in the film, will be on hand to discuss behind-the-scenes details of the film’s production.

Those attending the free screening are asked to RSVP with the number of their guests by sending an email to ron@oshows.com. For information on the Arcada Theatre, call (630) 962-7000, or visit oshows.com.
