Duckworth didn’t help fellow veterans
How can the Daily Herald endorse Tammy Duckworth? Sure, she is a disabled veteran, but she has forgotten where she came from. As the head of the Illinois Veterans office she did nothing to help veterans, and as second chair at the VA in Washington she also did nothing to help veterans. Her campaign is endorsed and funded by Mike Madigan, so why would any sensible person in the 8th District want to vote for her?
Congressman Walsh has proved what kind of representative he is, a real leader. He works for the people and works very hard to see that veterans get all the assistance that they need. Look at the record, and you will see that Congressman Walsh is the far better choice.
