Judge dismisses ‘Bachelor’ discrimination case

A federal judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Christopher Johnson, left, and Nathaniel Claybrooks, who claimed "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" discriminated against persons of color by failing to select nonwhites for central roles in the popular ABC series. The judge ruled that casting decisions are protected by the First Amendment.
