Is there an IronmanŽ or triathlon in your future? The Mundelein Park & Recreation District is offering a free workshop at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 to find out what it takes. The program is for ages 17 and older at the park district's Community Center, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. The free workshop is led by Matt Petersen, owner and president of Fitness Pursuit, Inc. in Grayslake. Presentations and discussions include how to prepare to start training, what training consists of, what race day is like and other helpful questions and answers. The program is free, but registration is required at (847) 566-0650, visiting the Mundelein Community Center, or at www.mundeleinparks.org.
