The number of "executive orders" signed by current and former presidents is an interesting view of what is going on in our nation's capitol. Going back to Teddy Roosevelt who signed three executive orders there were no more of these orders signed until FDR who signed 11 in 16 years.
From Truman through Sr. Bush, no president signed more than five, but then it all changed with Clinton signing 15 in eight years, George W. Bush signing 62 in eight years and our current president signing 923 executive orders in 3.5 years.
While issuing and signing that many executive orders, where did our current president find time to keep up his golf game? The implications of the way business is carried on by one individual (even if he is President) rather than according to the rules of our U S Constitution where it's three branches of government should be the determioning factor. Apparently, control has been taken away from the elected members of Congress and placed in the hands of the Executive Chief. The media seems unable to seek out this information for Americans or wants to keep it from us.
