Library hosts teen zombies

Teens in grades 6 through 12 can transform themselves into zombies beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 at the Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. With the help of monster makeup artists, teens will have until 6:30 p.m. to undergo their zombie transformations while watching vintage zombie films. Then from 6:30 to 9 p.m., while the library is closed to everyone else, teens will be fighting a zombie invasion. There will be games, food, contests (food Fear Factor), crafts (zombie Barbie and Ken), trivia and more — all with a zombie twist. Registration is required. Call (847) 362-2330 or visit webres.cooklib.org to register.
