Wauconda residents can learn about a plan to get drinking water from Lake Michigan at a public forum next week. The session, set for 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at Wauconda High School, will be staged less than three weeks before the Nov. 6 election, when voters will determine if the proposed $50 million project moves forward.
