About this Article

To make a dent in the number of slip-and-fall accidents among UPS delivery workers in the winter months, Addison workers got a lesson in walking Thursday from a sure-footed friend: Pepe, a 6-month-old Humboldt penguin from Brookfield Zoo, shuffled his way through the delivery center teaching drivers the correct way to walk. “Pepe gave us a great visual demonstration today that will hopefully stick in our drivers heads,” said UPS spokeswoman Christine Hand.
