Dimucci land proposal up again:
The Lake County Board’s planning, building and zoning committee meets at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday to review an agreement that would pave the way for the Dimucci family’s land near Hawthorn Woods to be rezoned as commercial property. The proposed deal with village leaders in Hawthorn Woods and North Barrington establishes several limitations on any development on the site, which is on Rand Road at Old McHenry Road. The meeting will be at the county government center in downtown Waukegan.
