USA’s afternoon surge restores Medinah roar

Tiger Woods got off to a rough start in Friday's Ryder Cup at Medinah, dropping his opening match with teammate Steve Stricker. He bounced back with five birdies in the afternoon session, but rookie Nicolas Colsaerts was hotter and carried Lee Westwood to a 1-up victory over the Woods-Stricker team.
