About this Article
Glass artist Peter Patterson of Mundelein was drawn back to that medium after studying different kinds of art in college. His aquatic-inspired works keep him busy in his studio, but he also finds time to teach the craft to others. "The thing I like about glass so much is that it is very fluid," Patterson says. "When it's hot it moves and you can shape it the way you want. It's very lustrous."Latest Galleries
