After back-to-back finishes in the East Suburban Catholic Conference meet, the St. Viator girls golf team found itself at the top this season.
The Lions, who lost only once during conference dual meet play, claimed the ESCC title on Wednesday at the Links at Carillon in Romeoville by shooting a 340.
They were followed by runner-up Providence (348) and third-place finisher Bishop McNamara (358).
St. Viator also set a school record with three all-conference players: Dana Gattone, Chrissy Wimberly and Amy Stringfellow.
Gattone (73) produced the lowest score for the Lions followed by Wimberly (87), Stringfellow (89) and Hailey Gainer (90).
