The lead attorney for Drew Peterson is asking a judge to postpone the former police sergeant's sentencing for the murder of his third wife.
The Chicago Tribune reported that attorney Joel Brodsky made the request on Tuesday, saying that fighting among the defense team has kept him from finishing a post-trial motion.

Peterson was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 26 after being convicted earlier this month of murdering Kathleen Savio.
Since then, one defense attorney was fired and has engaged in a public war of words with Brodsky. Another recently quit.
Brodsky says the troubles have distracted "from what's important" and is asking the judge to give him until Nov. 30 to file a motion for a new trial.
The judge says he'll consider the request next month.
