Lewis leads Grant triumph
Grant d. Round Lake: Lindsey Lewis took first place with a 20:42 to lead Grant to a 21-38 win over Round Lake. Bianca Ortega finished second for Round Lake with a 22:11.
Mundelein d. Stevenson: Ellie Palacios led Mundelein to a 19-43 win over Stevenson by taking first place with a 19:53. Stevenson’s Mackenzie Levy finished in second place with a 19:57.
Lake Forest d. Lake Zurich: Meg Gelinas finished in fourth (19:23) for Lake Zurich, which lost to Lake Forest, 23-34.
Vernon Hills d. Lakes: Danielle Griesbaum of Lakes took first place with a 19:18, but Vernon Hills got a 24-35 victory. Samantha Hershman took second place for Vernon Hills with a 19:19.7
