Lakes handles Grayslake North

Lakes d. Grayslake North: Sarah Horner rolled up 10 kills and 3 aces to lead Lakes to a 25-23, 25-10 victory over Grayslake North. Setter Stephanie Reed rolled up 17 assists and Alex Silvola added 14 digs for the Eagles, who move to 14-5.

St. Viator d. Warren: Stephanie Karlovicks had 4 kills and 4 digs but Warren got swept by St. Viator, 27-25, 25-18. The Blue Devils also got 9 digs out of Paige Jespersen and 7 assists out of Rachel Ziegler.

Lake Zurich d. Prospect: Thanks to 8 kills from Layne Self and 4 apiece from Sydney Glover and Nicole Morrissey, Lake Zurich got a 25-18, 25-14 sweep of Prospect. Kristen Walding added 18 assists for the Bears, who move to 12-8 overall.

Vernon Hills d. Regina: Shannon Nugent and Jenn Claussen had 8 and 6 kills respectively as Vernon Hills got a 25-20, 25-18 sweep of Regina. Jasmine Tamalunas and Tori Smith combined for 9 assists for the Cougars, who move to 7-13.

Stevenson d. Buffalo Grove: Stevenson improved to 18-2 with a 25-22, 25-11 sweep of Buffalo Grove. Jenna Radtke and Liza Pflugradt each had 6 kills while setter Alexa Bykowski had 10 assists.
