Indy's 'Complete Adventures' now on DVD
“Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures”
Fans of the great Indiana Jones adventure series starring Harrison Ford can now get all the films together in a five-disc box set. The Blu-ray editions present the films in the finest video and audio. Steven Spielberg was involved with the transfers, and his touch is all over the final product.
Included are the films “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “The Temple of Doom,” “The Last Crusade” and “The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” — as well as extra features such as documentaries, remastered Hi-Def trailers and more.
“Steve Martin: The Television Stuff”
This three-disc set does justice to the great talents of Steve Martin — comedian, writer and musician. Much of the material included in this set has never been available on DVD before. Included are Martin's stand-up specials from the Troubadour in 1976 to the Universal Amphitheatre in 1979, along with his NBC specials. Fans can also enjoy his “Wild and Crazy Guy” sketch on “Saturday Night Live,” talk show appearances, his first TV appearance in 1966 on “Dusty's Attic” and his 2006 acceptance speech for the prestigious Mark Twain Award.
“James Bond Gadgets”
British Secret Agent 007 is known for many things — including his gadgets. Now, you can look back on some of them from various James Bond films. The History Channel's program spotlights the Astin Martin from “Goldfinger,” Auto Gyro from “You Only Live Twice,” the Q-boat from “The World is Not Enough,” the rocket belt from “Thunderball” and more. Special features include an hourlong Biography special on Bond creator Ian Fleming.
