Roskam should agree to debate

We recently had the good fortune to listen to Leslie Coolidge, candidate in the 6th Congressional District. We found her to have a genuine, approachable style and ability to field complex questions regarding the economy, and national government policy issues. This is not surprising since she graduated from Harvard, is a qualified Certified Public Accountant, partner in an accounting firm and has experienced living abroad.

As Peter Roskam’s opponent, Leslie Coolidge offers voters an excellent choice in the upcoming election. Leslie has proposed public dialogs with her Republican opponent. Now is the time for these public forums so that voters can compare the qualifications of these two candidates. We recommend that Mr. Roskam respond to Leslie’s invitation so that a series of debates can better inform the voters.
