Robert T. Isham, Jr., was elected Chairman of the Board of Baytree National Bank and Trust Co, a unit of EB Financial Group, Inc.
He succeeds Willard Bunn III who has joined the Chicago boutique investment banking firm of Colonnade Advisors as managing director.
Isham, an attorney in private practice, is a longtime resident of Lake Bluff and Lake Forest. Prior to re-establishing his own law practice, Isham was general counsel of Billing Services Group, a Bermuda-based, AiM London Exchange-listed telephone billing company with operations in San Antonio, TX, and formerly in Frankfurt, Germany, and London. Prior to joining BSG he worked in merchant banking for a Chicago-based firm and was a partner at McDermott, Will & Emery, specializing in creditor rights, bankruptcy and complex litigation.
Isham, who has served as a member of the bank's board for the past year, received a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. with honors from the University of Montana Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the law review. After law school, he clerked for the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and for Justice Anthony M. Kennedy on the circuit court's emergency motions panel. Active in numerous civic and charitable organizations, he is co-chairman of the Northwestern Hospital Council for Philanthropy; Director, Lake County Republican Federation; and immediate past president and current member of the board of trustees, Graceland Cemetery, Chicago.
