Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field

TV: Comcast SportsNet

Radio: WGN 720-AM

Pitching matchups: The Cubs’ Justin Germano (2-7) vs. Homer Bailey (11-9) Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; Chris Rusin (1-2) vs. Mike Leake (8-9) Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.; Jason Berken (0-1) vs. Johnny Cueto (17-9) Thursday at 1:20 p.m.

At a glance: The Reds, who were off Monday, lead the St. Louis Cardinals by 11 games in the NL Central. They have a magic number of 5 to clinch the division. The Cubs are 4-9 against the Reds this season, 2-5 at Wrigley Field. Cincinnati entered Monday tied for second in team ERA (3.44). Johnny Cueto is a legitimate Cy Young candidate as he is fourth in the league in ERA and third in wins. Closer Aroldis Chapman has been suffering from shoulder fatigue. He has not pitched since Sept. 10. The Reds won’t rush him back, as they want him fresh for the postseason. First baseman Joey Votto returned after missing almost two months because of knee surgery.

Next: St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field, Friday-Sunday
