"Snow White & The Huntsman"
This dark, exciting retelling of the classic tale features lots of special effects and outstanding cinematography. Charlize Theron is the backbone of the film as the evil age-defying Queen Ravenna. She murders her husband, and the kingdom goes into a state of despair. The Queen wants to live forever, so she takes the hearts and souls from young women to maintain her youth. Aging, however, isn't her only worry. Warned by a magic mirror of the threat posed by her stepdaughter Snow White (Kristen Stewart), the Queen has the young woman imprisoned in the dungeon. After a period of time, Snow White escapes and heads to the forest.

The Queen sends the huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) to capture Snow White. When he does find Snow White, however, the huntsman has a change of heart and teaches her the art of war. The film features some intense battle scenes in this tale of good vs. evil.

"Frank Capra: The Early Years"
Martin Scorsese created the Film Foundation to protect and preserve motion picture history. The foundation restores classic cinema, and, to this end, has teamed up with Turner Classic Movies and Sony Pictures to present this excellent collection of films available for the first time. The five pre-code Frank Capra classics included here are: "Lady of Leisure," "Rain or Shine," "The Miracle Woman," "Forbidden" and "The Bitter Tea of General Yen." They're introduced by Robert Osbourne, and special features include interviews with filmmakers and historians.

"The Essential Games of the Chicago Cubs"
This four-disc set is a collector's item for Cubs fans. It includes four game telecasts that span the decades. The first game is from 1969, and the lineup features Ron Santo, Billy Williams, Ferguson Jenkins and Leo Durocher. Others take you to 1984, 1998 and 2008. There is an audio feature that will allow you to watch the TV broadcast while listening to the Cubs radio Network announcers.

"Hammer House of Horror: Complete Series"
Hammer Studios in England is known for its horror films starring actors Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Denholm Elliot among others.
