Will County prosecutors presented evidence indicating an Oswego man accused of killing his family was in their SUV at the time of the slayings.

Christopher Vaughn claims he wasn't in the vehicle at the time he says his wife shot and killed their three children and then turned the gun on herself. However, Illinois State Police forensic scientist Kelly Krajnik testified Friday that Kimberly Vaughn's blood was found on a jacket her husband was wearing at the time of the June 2007 shootings

Christopher Vaughn has claimed his wife shot herself after he left the scene to seek help.

Prosecutors say Vaughn killed his wife and children so he could move to Canada. His attorneys say his wife committed the killings because she was distraught over marriage troubles.
