Constitution backs marriage equality

If Chick-fil-A wants to open a restaurant somewhere, it has every right to do so. If I am invited to go there for dinner, as a supporter of marriage equality, I have every right to politely decline and dine somewhere else. If a same-sex couple wants to marry and form a family, they should also have every right to do so. If someone is invited to the wedding who does not support marriage equality, that person has every right to decline and do something else that day.

It is unconstitutional not to welcome a business into the community because of its religious beliefs. It is unconstitutional to treat a same-sex couple and their family as second class citizens because of the way the couple was born. The Defense Of Marriage Act is unconstitutional. Period.
