President had his chance on economy

The country is experiencing out-of-control home foreclosures and skyrocketing unemployment numbers, and President Obama has this to say: ”There will be setbacks.” Obama conceded that the economy is not where it should be, but Republicans’ only remedy is to blame him for that.” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney stressed that “the president has a lot on his plate.” Is he referring to the $40,000-a-plate dinner at George Clooney’s place?

In the past six months, President Obama reportedly has attended zero job council meetings, played golf 10 times, jetted off on Air Force One to 106 fundraisers for himself, and traveled to Florida for his 107th. Obama has blamed George Bush for the past 3½ years for our economy. The ball is in your court now, Mr. President, so, yes, under your administration “there will be setbacks,” and the economy is not where it should be. Whom should we blame now?
