Durbin’s support of Reid no surprise

Well, I see that Sen. Dick Durbin has finally spoken out about Harry Reid’s preposterous statement that Mitt Romney didn’t pay any income taxes for ten years.

This tells me how dense this man’s thinking really is. Does anybody think that a person with Romney’s income wouldn’t be audited by the IRS every year?

Sen. Durbin’s statement in support of Sen. Reid’s ridiculous contention about Mr. Romney’s federal taxes shouldn’t surprise anyone, however. After all the ventriloquist’s dummy can only say what the ventriloquist tells him to.

I can hardly wait for Mr. Durbin’s pronouncement regarding the equally offensive TV ad that accuses Mr. Romney of killing the wife of a former steelworker. This is nonsense, too. Every thinking Democrat knows that George Bush was responsible for that poor lady’s death.
