Urge Quinn to veto plastic bag bill
Gov. Pat Quinn has just three weeks left to make his final decision about SB 3442. Please call his office at (217) 782-0244 and tell him to veto this bill that would take away our local rights throughout Illinois to pass plastic bag bans. We do not want to allow Big Plastic to decide what we can and cannot do over the next five years. Plastic bags are horrible for the environment and don’t make sense long-term. There are much better solutions. Call Gov. Quinn and tell him so, and keep calling until you get through! He needs to hear from all of us. Thank you.
