Learn about bison at Lake County forest preserve

You can learn about the return of bison to Illinois and prairie restoration in a program at the Ryerson Woods Forest Preserve near Deerfield on Aug. 18. The program will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the welcome center. It's open to anyone 10 or older. Admission is $10 for Friends of Ryerson Woods members or $15 for anyone else.
