Poll Vault: What's your favorite moment in U.S. Olympic history?

By Michelle Holdway

If you're like me, you won't get through the XXX Olympiad without getting a little choked up.

The Summer Games are always full of heartwarming stories.

Do you remember how diver Greg Louganis came back from hitting his head on the board to win gold in Seoul in 1988?

Were you in awe of the Dream Team, which obliterated the competition on the men's basketball court in Barcelona in 1992, the first time professionals represented the U.S.?

How about Kerri Strug nailing a vault on one foot as the "Magnificent Seven" U.S. women took gold in the gymnastics team final in Atlanta in 1996?

What U.S. Olympic moment resonated the most with you over the years?
