Say a prayer that firefighters stay safe

“Thank you,” could never begin to express our gratitude to the firefighters and paramedics who fought the fire that destroyed our home on April 18 in Arlington Heights.

Their concern for us was overwhelming. Their concern for our neighbors, their properties and everyone’s well-being was beyond anything I could imagine.

After the fire was contained many of the surrounding fire departments that responded were able to return to their stations, leaving our outstanding firefighters of Arlington Heights to stay with me until our house was secured.

So THANK YOU for being the outstanding people you are. When you hear a siren, say a prayer for these heroes that they will be safe, knowing they are on the way to help someone in need.
