New defense attorneys appointed in January to represent D'Andre Howard, charged in the 2009 deaths of three members of the Engelhardt family in their Hoffman Estates home, say they have received 69 boxes of reports and evidence from Howard's previous attorneys. Cook County Assistant Public Defender Deana Binstock requested additional time from the court to read the information before filing any motions.
