Hear uplifting gospel music by award-winning artists and praise dancers from 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, July 22 at the Greenbelt Cultural Center's free Gospelfest. Performers include Pastor Darius Brooks, The Tommies, Urban Inspirational artist Minister Tawana Ross, the Greater Faith Church Baptist Choir and more. For the second year, the Gospelfest Committee will present Doing Good in the Hood awards to community members who have blessed others. Admission is free; food is available for purchase. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Free on-site parking and shuttle service is available. The Greenbelt Cultural Center is at 1215 Green Bay Road, North Chicago.
