Wisconsin community banks changing names

MADISON, Wis. — Community banks operating in cities across Wisconsin are changing their names.

Wisconsin Bank & Trust is the new name for Wisconsin Community Bank in Madison and Monroe and Heartland Business Bank in the Green Bay and Sheboygan markets.

The Wisconsin-chartered bank had been operating under the two names for 15 years before the change took effect this week.

Customers of the banks are being notified of the name change. Wisconsin Bank & Trust says their accounts and services offered will not change.

The complete transition is expected to be complete by early September.
