The summer festival brings an opportunity for restaurants to bring their great tastes to the outdoors Thursday, July 19, to Sunday, July 22. The Taste has grown through the years, bringing even more delicacies to the community.

This year’s event also features new entertainment, with Antioch IDOL for Scholarships awarding a total of $3,500 toward any type of future education.

Students ages 12 to 21 in five counties may register online at AntiochChamber.org to guarantee their spot in the IDOL auditions. Only 300 students will be accepted to audition at Antioch’s Taste of Summer’s Antioch IDOL.

Students are encouraged to register early. If there are still registration openings, students may come to the Taste Thursday, July 19, at 4 p.m. to register on-site. A complete list of registration rules is available on the Antioch chamber website.

The Taste offers food, entertainment, a carnival, sidewalk sales, and many other activities that make up the four-day family fun festival.
