Venetian Night fundraiser in Fox Lake
Fox Lake will host a fundraiser for the annual Venetian Night on Wednesday. To help raise money for the village’s annual boat parade and fireworks show, the village and Docker’s Restaurant, 33 W. Grand Ave., in Fox Lake, is having the $25 fundraiser at 6 p.m. The $25 donation will cover two free drinks and appetizers. The event will also have a silent auction. Venetian Night, scheduled for Aug. 4, is titled “Mardi Gras on the Chain,” The money raised Wednesday covers the fireworks display that night and the street festival on Grand Avenue.
