Libertyville to videotape meetings

The Ela Area Public Library in Lake Zurich will pay special tribute to former librarian Bridget Hennessey on Thursday, July 12 with music by Banna Irish Pop Duo and a cooking demo from chef Michael Maddox. The event is at the library, 275 Mohawk Trail. The cooking demo will be in the library’s meeting room from 5 to 6 p.m., with music following on the library’s patio from 6 to 8 p.m. Hennessey, who died in October, was a longtime library employee with 24 years of service. She worked in the adult reference department as a reference librarian. Library officials said she was very passionate about cooking and was most proud of her Irish roots.
