Listen up at Taste of Chicago
Whether you like pop, rock, R&B or alternative, the taste buds for your ears are in for a treat at this year's Taste of Chicago.
The fest starts Wednesday, July 11, and runs through Sunday, June 15, in Grant Park. For exact times and full stage schedules, visit tasteofchicago.us, but here's a look at some of the headliners appearing at the Petrillo Music Shell, Jackson Boulevard and Columbus Drive.
Ÿ Chicagoan Jennifer Hudson kicks things off on July 11. Opening for Hudson is Luke James.
Ÿ Death Cab for Cutie performs Thursday, July 12. Calexico opens.
Ÿ Friday, July 13, brings Michael Franti & Spearhead and Fitz & The Tantrums.
Ÿ “Queen of Funk” Chaka Khan performs Saturday, July 14. Also on that day, Taste will feature a free Radio Disney show featuring pop artists Roshon Fegan and Bartlett native Shealeigh.
Ÿ Wrapping up Taste are Lindi Ortega and Dierks Bentley Sunday, July 15.
For the first time, seats will cost $25 — but you can always listen on the lawn for free.
