United announces new flights from O’Hare

United Airlines has announced new flights out of its Chicago hub at O’Hare International Airport.

The airline said Tuesday it will begin new service to points in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Daily flights to Monterrey, Mexico, will begin Dec. 19 after the airline gets government approval.

Daily United Express service will also link Chicago with Thunder Bay, Ontario, beginning Feb. 14.

Weekly flights to Nassau, Bahamas, will begin Feb. 9. They will operate every Saturday throughout the peak season until the end of July next year. That route is also subject to government approval.

The airline will fly to Jackson, Miss., starting Nov. 4.

United is also adding flights during the peak winter travel period to Anchorage, Alaska, from Dec. 19 to Jan. 2.
