The Mundelein Fire Department will host its fourth annual "Firefighters Challenge" blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Fire Station 1, 1000 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. The department partners with LifeSource, the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association and supports scholarships for firefighter training throughout Illinois. More than 30 departments in the Chicago area are involved in the effort.
