Curtain goes up on ‘Legally Blonde’ at Naperville’s Center Stage Theatre

The Center Stage Players are one of the first casts in the area to perform the high-energy musical “Legally Blonde,” their first show of the summer.

The musical will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 6 and 7, and at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at Center Stage Theatre, 1665 Quincy Ave., Naperville.

“Legally Blonde,” is based on the popular movie featuring Reese Witherspoon as a sorority girl lawyer who goes to Harvard Law School in an attempt to win back her boyfriend but learns she can achieve great things on her own without him.

In 2007, Laura Belle Bundy starred in the title role in the musical stage adaptation, and she and the show earned multiple Tony Award nominations.

The cast of “Legally Blonde” includes: Meagan Black, Ellie Bognar, Connor Bowen, Dan Brennan, Casie Coleman, Jessica Coleman, Bridget Deely, Jordyn Elliott, Mary Elliott, Cassie Fenwick, GiGi Grande, Taiah Hersey, Megan Hill, Savanna Hoffman, Gabi Knoepfle, Alex Knoll. Amanda Knutson, Olivia Palak, Connor Payne, Brandon Piper, Dennis Raleigh, Mike Raleigh, Emily Seddon, Erin Schoch, Chris Siemann, Zack “Slim” Simonini, Andrew Stachurski, Alexis Theis, De’Vontae Weaver, Enya Wenk and Etienne Wenk
