Curtain goes up on ‘Legally Blonde’ at Naperville’s Center Stage Theatre

The Center Stage Players are one of the first casts in the area to perform the high-energy musical "Legally Blonde," their first show of the summer.
The musical will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 6 and 7, and at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at Center Stage Theatre, 1665 Quincy Ave., Naperville.

"Legally Blonde," is based on the popular movie featuring Reese Witherspoon as a sorority girl lawyer who goes to Harvard Law School in an attempt to win back her boyfriend but learns she can achieve great things on her own without him.
In 2007, Laura Belle Bundy starred in the title role in the musical stage adaptation, and she and the show earned multiple Tony Award nominations.
