Experience Japan at a PL8 Simply Asian's first stop on a three-part culinary exploration from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 12. Let the taste buds wander with Japanese beer, sake sangria and sparkling sake coolers. Sample some handcrafted maki rolls, teriyaki beef skewers and vegetable tempura. Being stranded isn't so bad

Hit up the Lodge at Four Lakes Saturday and rock out with the cover band Trash Martini. Saturday drink specials include $4 house wine, $4 Guinness and $4 Absolut. Everyday specials include $3 Hop Head, $5 Bacardi bombs and $9 flavored fish bowls.
