Schaumburg’s Summer Breeze Concert Series starts July 7

By Eric Peterson

With summer now in full swing, Schaumburg residents are being invited to take full advantage of the balmy evening temperatures at the upcoming Summer Breeze Concert Series.

The concerts are being held at 7 p.m. on select Saturdays in July and August lakeside on the village’s municipal grounds at 101 Schaumburg Court.

This summer’s lineup includes New Odyssey on July 7; Jin and Tonic on July 14; Flat Cats on July 21; The Voices on Aug. 11; Heartache Tonight on Aug. 18; and Frank Winkler and the Symphonic Pops Orchestra on Aug. 25.

Admission is free, but pets are not permitted on the municipal grounds during the concerts.

The concert series is co-sponsored by the Schaumburg Park District and the village of Schaumburg.

For more information about any of the concerts, call (847) 490-7020 or visit parkfun.com.
