While Carpentersville police have confirmed the identity of a woman who was shot to death in a murder-suicide on Friday night as Nicole Brown of Carpentersville, they aren't releasing many new details about the case. Meanwhile, police say it would have been difficult to stop Tony Rodriguez, the Lake in the Hills man they say are "confident" killed her, from turning the gun on himself, because there wasn't enough time.
