Fire scouting report vs. Columbus Crew
Columbus Crew at Chicago Fire, 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Toyota Park
TV: Channel 5.2
Scouting the Crew: The Crew (5-4-4, 19 points) could pass the Fire in the Eastern Conference standings with a victory. In 13 games it has scored 13 goals and allowed 13 goals. It is undefeated in its last six games. Andy Gruenebaum has been one of the top goalkeepers in MLS this year. Rookie Kirk Urso of Lombard is listed as out for this game with adductor tendinitis.
Scouting the Fire:The Fire (6-5-3, 21 points) has done well at home this season, 4-1-2, but there is the distraction of midfielder Sebastian Grazzini’s contract situation. This could be his last home game if the club doesn’t pick up his option. Coach Frank Klopas will try to find more playing time for Chris Rolfe, who changed last weekend’s game when he entered as a second-half substitute.
