Moylan receives leadership award
The Illinois State Crime Commission/Police Athletic League of Illinois recently presented Des Plaines Mayor Marty Moylan with the Municipal Leader of the Year Award at its 16th annual awards dinner.
The 2012 recognition ceremony, “Salute to Those Who Make A Difference,” was held earlier this week at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.
Moylan was among 30 honorees representing the best “leaders and champions” from government and industry.
Awardees included Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart, who received the 2012 Sheriff of the Year Award.
